Despatch Forklift Driver

Our client is Australia’s leading supplier of bathroom and plumbing products and they are now seeking experienced forklift operators to join their large Distribution Centre team based in Dandenong South.

Our client provides a structured on-boarding training plan for the successful candidates within a supportive team environment. With over 450 stores across Australia with over 4,000 staff, we are looking for candidates seeking the possibility of career progression.

Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Despatch Forklift Driver


Duties and responsibilities involved but not limited to:

• Operating the Counterbalance Forklift
• Loading/unloading trucks and containers
• Happy to work 20% on the forklift & 80% storeperson/Despatch
• Repetitive duties such as pallet consolidation and manual pallet wrapping
• Receiving and Consolidation
• Warehouse Labouring/heavy lifting up to 25kgs
• Use of Tuggers and Pallet Jacks
• General storeperson duties

Desirable Skills are:

• Have a valid LF licence with over 12 months experience
• Be physically fit and able to lift to repetitively when required
• Have a Positive and Reliable attitude.
• Team Player
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• Able to handle a fast paced environment
• Have great communication skills and able to work well in a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
• Heavy lifting up to 25kgs
• Be available to work Monday to Friday
• Flexibility to work hours between 09:00 – 17:30 Monday-Friday (potential overtime available)
